| Spririt of Tea
To practice the oriental art of Tea, one needs to be patient. The movements are delicate, precise, purposeful. The artist must create a serene and peaceful atmosphere; her guests must forego daily distractions. | A Family Legacy
In the central Colorado mountains, the Everetts are a family deeply rooted in the ranch land of Chaffee County. Peter Everett came into the upper Arkansas River valley around 1880, and in 1884 married a woman whose family, the Spragues, had been there since the 1860s. “Galatia Sprague came up right after the Civil War to the gold field in Leadville,” said rancher Glenn Everett, Peter's great-grandson. |

Working with what she had, she began putting together care packages of candy from her store. News about her efforts quickly spread in Canon City and donations came rolling in to help boost the first shipment of Treats for our Troops. |

| Mercy's Kitchen

It is not about my life,” she said. “It's one person who will say yes to the call of Jesus, to love and serve Him and the world, and to follow Him where he leads.” |
